Ya, Arua has been pushed well past her braking point.

But I'm not past it yet! I need a Halloween costume idea for Tirea!! Leave it bellow!

*tear* Lacking that is the very first time I have seen you use a swear word in this comic, and it perfectly shows how broken Arua feels right now. The madness in her eyes in Panel 3 reflects the madness she sees in the world around her: unrelenting war, racial hatreds, evil done in the name of money and power. With all her power she feels helpless to stop the things that matter; that all she can do is destroy and not bring peace. She feels so close to giving up, unsure what more she can do to bring peace.

We're also seeing how much Veja cares, whether he will admit to it or not. I believe he's feeling pained that there's a limit to what he can do. He was trying to protect her and he thinks he failed. He's wrong, and so is Arua. There is a lot more they can do, but figuring it out is the journey.

And, now Tirea is in on the secret as well.

I really can't wait for next week again.

If Arua is going as That Which Has No Life, and Veja is in-game troll with mohawk; then obviously sweet little Tirea has to be...EVIL SYLVANAS.

...Well, it makes sense in my head.

Or, she can dress up as High-Tinker Mechatorque. ...Or, would that be...dress *down*....

I'll come back and comment on all the little details I missed while I was still asleep.

It's 3:56am here, and I've been awake since a little after 1 with my eye. Every time I try to lie back down it starts watering. Can't sleep so I'm commenting on details.

First panel Arua is hard to look at. She looks barely able to stand, and her face looks as though she is empty, unresponsive. It's made more apparent in Panel 2 where you have Arua trying and failing to come to terms with what she has had to do. It is the closest we have ever seen her to giving up, and I had a flashback to a different Arua: the young priestess who felt she had failed and her world had ended. The little details like the rain spotting, and the delicate lines showing the falling rain around her adding life and action to the panel.

Panel 3 is Arua snapping under the combined stress of exhaustion and the terrible/however necessary thing she had to do. The swift motion lines from her blade emphasize her lashing out at what she feels is her failure to change anything. Panel 4 showing that was the last she had, energy completely spent no longer able to stand or maintain Archon energy. The sound effects of her disintegrating wings contrasting with her impact on the muddy ground emphasizing the transition. And Panel 5 showing Veja the steadfast friend, understanding she's given all she can for now, letting her know that he, and now Tirea, will take care of her from here.

No pressure, but this is going to be a tough follow-up with Arua coming to grips with not just what happened, but what will be required.

That's quite a bit of pressure. But I'll try my best to follow it up.

Sorry for keeping you awake but I am glad to see that this page did ring out on a emotional level. It was kind of dependent on that.

Wasn't you keeping me up, that was the infected eye being extremely irritating. I just decided to make constructive use of the time while I was awake.

And I know you will follow up great, you always do.

Arua, why you be blue? What died that had blue blood? Or is that just ashesb because the spots turn white-grey in the lady panel? I don't think she's been this upset since Brewer died...

Hrm, costume ideas. Tirea's an engineer, so something related to that, perhaps. Mechagnome, er, mechatauren, rather? Or I was thinking Steampunk, but that wouldn't be WoW-related unless you go the Gilnean inventor path.
