Something I've never show cased is what kind of aftermath does Arua's power leave.

I guess even glowing fire leaves a crispy mess.

Before when the Archon power has manifested the recipients have been demons and a demi-god, never mortals. And on those occasions it was a case of saving the world from a greater evil, not so much mass slaughter.

Now I don't want to turn the page and see what's happened to her.

The additional details on this page are good work. The rain spotting on the characters, the understated rendering of the clouds in the background. Veja's expression in Panel 4 is so very sorrowful. He doesn't know how much this has hurt Arua inside, but he knows she's hurting. And finally Panel 5 is deceptively simple, while complex at once. Even from a distance you have captured Arua as completely exhausted, spent, and weighted down by the enormity of what has happened. She is visibly sagging, barely holding on to her sword, barely standing. This is the price of her power. This is what Veja feared, tried and failed to prevent. It is what I alluded to earlier when I said that Arua had never seen true war, and it's consequences. This is the new grim reality she is going to have to learn to deal with.
