Well last page of the week! So next week then. Now time to finish up this ramble.

The final point is artifact weapons. The idea isn't bad, after "hey you got Ashbringer! Your so cool!" just doesn't quite work when EVERYONE!! Has the Ashbringer. Skyrim worked because not everyone was the dragonborn. Uniqueness only works when you are truly unique to your world.

I feel many of these changes where made with sound thought but it just doesn't work for this type of game. In a strange way MMO's work because your not special. You just have the change to go on a large adventure, to go out and see this new world. Interaction with players need to be driven by necessity not just as an option. And well there is a need to provide single player content in a MMO, making single player content the center point of a MMO is counter intuitive of the very nature of a MMO!

My thoughts on how to fix this is to ask a few simple questions.

1. Would this be fun with friends?

2. Do I need other people to do this?

The answer to both these questions should for the most part of a game be yes. A MMO should drive people together by necessity. That's just the core of the game!

So is Legion a bad game, no. It's a good game in the wrong style right now. I hope the next expansion we start to see a return of the MMO foundation of WoW and the MMO being treated as a after thought less.

If they actually realize they went too far with the pruning. If they actually realize that "Content" means more than "busy work." If they actually realize that people want "story" not "spectacle" maybe I will enjoy WoW again. Someday.

Panel 3: "Gluten" is the bready thing some people have to avoid. "Glutton" is a person who can't get enough of something.

Nice use of shadows to add mood and anticipation to these panels.

I still want to know who is sounding that chime.

I got something else on the pruning for another time.

But something to run by you are a few questions.

1. What ability do you want to see added back into the game?

2. Why do you want these added back into the game?

3. Are there any "new" ways to think about how ability work and the impact they have on the game?
(eg. Resource generator, Damage reducer, Damage dealer, Heals, Crowd control. So on and so forth)

I have an entire forum post I keep sitting on because I want/don't want to say it. Current situation is irritating me, but there's no way to say what I want to say without pissing Blizzard and probably a bunch of players off. This week it's not worth the effort. Next week it might be worth the effort.

I will give you the condensed version though:

What ability do I want added back.

5.3 Death Knight

Why do I want it added back.

That was the last time Death Knight was REALLY fun and challenging to play.

I want 5.3 back for an expansion before I will be ready to think about new. I've had enough of Blizzard's "new" for the nonce.

Thank you for pointing that out, I had accidently placed the update under the old "Gratz Adventure" book rather then the current "Spirit of Adventure" book.

A very good find that I may never have spotted so thank you very much!

"Twang" is an interesting first I thought of a bow string of someone else who found their courage to fight, but now I think one of their traps has been sprung. Can't wait to find out.
