This is only the second time I think that Arua and Cer'veja have had the opportunity to pick the battleground.

Ok so Destiny 2....

Well I am a little less hyped for it now, I had hope that we would have gotten to see more then just one mission, strike, and PvP. The most we got to see was the new weapons set up and some new powers.

Destiny always felt like a solid game to play, but the lack of story and content is what really hurt it and from what the gameplay showed it really didn't do much to ease my concerns. After the first mission of the taken king looked very cool. and the first mission of the Rise of Iron also was well put together. But in both cases those aspects of the game quickly fell off as you progressed through the story.

The new weapon load out I'm not to sure of ether. A sniper and a shotgun can be considered power weapons but not in the same way a rocket launcher is a power weapon. Snipers and shotguns take a fair bit of skill to use where as a rocket launcher is point and things are gone. (for the most part) But I have seen people switching weapons from kinetic to elemental a lot more often in Destiny 2.

I felt like the guided group system is a little off, well I understand that they don't want a LFR system. I still think a full Group finding system is better. NOT a match making system but a log where you can sign up for what you want to do and find people through that. The problem with the guided system is that is still relies on pre making part groups rather then just letting you find players just as a whole. After all there isn't a traid chat to spam looking for BT group in.

Now the biggest shocker I got was that for PC you need to buy it from the blizzard launcher. That was a big surprise for me. In some respects tho I can understand that because Bungie and activation are working on this and Blizzard and Activation have a joint ship together so I can see the connection. So how this will play out in the long run I don't know.

Over all Destiny 2 did not blow me away. It looks nice and seems to play nice but so did the first one. I can only hope that more content is placed with in destiny 2.

Anyways got to run now! Update this kind of late. Cya next week.

What I'm hearing about completely peer-to-peer and no dedicated servers is turning me off completely.

That's assuming I have any money after I hear about the car.

How bad is the car?

wasn't a accident I hope.

Nothing about the peer-to-peer hosting for the PC version?

Not an accident but had there been more traffic could have been dicey. Car died on me AFTER I had exited the highway and was on the road back home. I had worked late so normal 6pm traffic was already cleared. I got almost to an intersection and felt the engine choke and had time to guide it to a safe stopping place, where it refused to turn over again. Well, semi-safe, not where I was going to get hit. Still it was a good thing I was an athlete as a girl as I had to push the damn thing off to a side street to avoid getting a ticket for blocking a main road. Still think I managed to strain a lately unused muscle in my back calf. Took 20 minutes for my friend to get there and another 15 for the tow truck. Now waiting to find out the damage. Tow driver put a tester on the battery and that was ok, so he thought it was the fuel pump. My luck it will be something expensive that will completely eat what I was saving to register another vehicle, as I was anticipating this one dying sooner or later. More sooner, but not this sooner.

Well how dare I be concerned about your health, I guess I'll just keep my good will to myself. Hope you don't get a cold.

Jokes aside, I really don't have much of a opinion on the peer-to-peer connections right now. I heard that supposedly Halo 5 had servers hosting it but I still found I had issues with the game loading from time to time. (but that could be that Halo 5 it's self has a poorly optimize game engine.)

But even if the peer-to-peer hosting is not an issue, the PtP hasn't gotten the best of raps lately. Just having a host server is good press for most games. And Destiny 2 needs to not only be a good game or even an great game. It needs to be a life changer of a game. It needs to do this to make up for Destiny 1 and the heart brake that it was.

So in short Destiny 2 really should be trying to stack the deck in it's favor with all the good press tricks it can muster.

(tho diminishing returns might kick in at some point but I don't know what that point is.)

I thought I was the one being sarcastic. Normally, I am. I do appreciate you asking, I just was, and am, highly exhausted right now and am having a problem with being short in the tact department.

The PtP means I won't even buy the game. Leaving aside the instability of a PtP connection, I'm a strong opponent of socializing with unsecured personal computers. Some asshat is going to create a virus to take advantage of it. Everyone will wannacry.

That is a very good point that I did not consider. Few things could be as devastating to Destiny 2 as hackers and viruses.

Try it now, sometimes things get buggy here. If there is an error code please let me know what it is.

Just saw this. Interesting you use the term "buggy."

Hanging anvils might be a hassle, but they sure sound cool!
