I really hate when I'm right sometimes.

Out of nowhere this morning I was going: "You know we haven't seen...Dirt God...Magic Orb...wait, nutjobs...recent activity...pack???"

Well, shit....

Besides the whole metal jaw thing this guy has, think about the recovery time for those wounds over both of his eyes. He's lucky that he didn't end up blind after getting them, unless he is actually blind.

Also, back to that metal jaw. I wonder if it's merely a covering for mangled/mis-healed lower jaw or just a complete replacement for it. There's clearly still a tongue there, which reminds me of the undead jaw option in WoW.

I haven't decided on the jaw yet.

And about the sound effects for Arua light. They kick in when she attacks or is just walking around and there are no other sounds.

Because this is just pictures I try to have something written on every panel. This way people stay just a moment longer on each panel. It helps a bit with to pacing because like with this dark hallway it gives a bit of a sense of travailing towards something when you need to spend a moment on it rather then just skim past it because there really is nothing in that panel.

With the jaw I'm thinking there has to be a minimal base structure for it to connect to. It's too heavy to be just hinged directly into the upper jaw with no other support. If that were the case it would be exerting a tremendous amount of friction on the bone due to basic gravity. That friction would wear down the surrounding bone in no time. So I'm thinking it's fashioned around his lower jaw giving it anchor points above and below. And it doesn't even have to be a ruined lower jaw, just an armored bite point that would be nasty in a close fight.

The glowy eyes also lead me to thinking he is naturally blind. By that I mean whatever damage he took to his face took his natural sight away, but the magic that gives him his powers also gives him a spectral sight.

And he is *not* really happy to see her. Unless...this was the plan all along. The raiders, their slaves, all bait to get her here, inside this room in this structure. A nice confined place for the magic orb to be activated in.

You wouldn't have done that, would you??

Also, here's some more research on graphic artists.

Thanks for the info, I've actually just applied at a school for becoming a multimedia artist.

Thanks for all the information, it's help a lot in trying to figure things out. The internet is a big place and I can only get through so much of it.
