So one of my guesses was correct it seems. Grand Moff/Bad Brother's power was responsible for empowering her; so, once his tomb was destroyed along with the rest of The Kingdom, the dark power left her. Except, that seems like an incomplete answer, because there was enough power* to keep her, and only her, alive through that destruction. No other way she could have survived.

She wants to help people so badly in order to make up for the evil she has done. If only she could discover a different kind of power*.

Lacking, who do we know that is a friend to those who champion the weak and defenseless?

Well Arua and Cer'veja also survived. So we got at lest three people.

Yes, but they were in the protected area of the Temple, which The Light had promised to protect. Xura was not.

So who protected *her*?
