Comic 789 - Quest accepted?

Now the plan always was for the city to fall in the end. But the exact ending differed quite a bit.
1. Arua died: There was a plan where the city would fall and Arua gave her life to save all who where at the temple of light, so only Cer'veja. The follow up would be at a in where robbers attack and a hooded figure stood up to fight them off. This would be Cer'veja now with Arua's tattoo on his left arm continuing to protect others just as she had done.
2. Service complete: In this ending Arua and Cer'veja lived but after saving everyone in the Temple of the Light Arua's powers where drained and she went back to having now powers and her hair being brown and eyes what ever color it was they use to be. The two of them would set off again to find their next adventure. (tho walking this time)
And that was it, the third option was the one I went with. Like I said last week I do these comics for myself and people to enjoy. Arua and Cer'veja are really enjoyable people and rather then try and create a new cast for the story I was already going to tell I just carried them over.
So what dose this mean? It means we are going to get to see more Arua and Cer'veja but we are also going to get to see more sides of them, perhaps a wider range of emotion and experience then in the past. So well we may still have old characters I want to try and bring more out of them.

In contrast, I and all of my Horde were horrified. Especially original PallyTaur, who's character reveres all life as being of The Light. It was at that point that I began developing a strong hatred of Garrosh, and being twice thwarted from delivering an actual killing blow to his carcass still doesn't sit well with me.

I don't think I would have liked either of those alternates as much. In fact, if I grieved for Xura's death after her revelation, I could not have taken Arua dying. I realize the possibility is there, mind. With every dangerous foe they take on, that outcome is lurking in the background and the day may come. I just won't be ready for it. I would prefer you diverged for a book or two of StarVan before that happened.
I like that you're working to bring out more character in each of the duo. I said back during the first book that I felt Arua had a lot of potential in her, and that certainly means having more than one dimension. The heart is golden, truly, but the heart is encased in a body of clay. Poetically speaking. The spirit is willing for endless service, but the body gets tired, the muscles become aggrieved of sleeping on hard ground, and the Arua becomes cranky. All part of being mortal.
It may not sound like it, but I feel awful tonight after an awful day. I'm probably missing a lot in this update.
And...why is Sagey going to contact them again once they "have the weapon" instead of just telling them how to destroy it and be done? No I'm not suspicious. Nothing...I said nothing....
