After all she did, my heart aches for Xura. As she found the truth, I hope that she finds peace in eternity.

In the Meta sense, it seems that evil won this one. The world the king conceived in love of The Light, ends in flames and destruction. Only two people will live through this to carry the message of The Light to the rest of the world. (Which opens up a lot more potential for Arua. More trilogies. After the next book, which is something else good.)

Over the course of the story I did wonder if it would seem that evil had won. But something to keep in mind is the people who still followed the Light after all this are saved, even if it's only two of them.

In our own life we may look at the disaster around us and feel as if evil is winning. But we need to keep in mind that our perspective is but a small one when compared to the whole picture, and that some times our plan does not match the bigger plan.

To get a little religious here another way to look at it is when Christ was crucified that would be considered the end, evil had won? But that was part of the plan. For him to first atone for our sins and then die upon the cross and rise again on the third day. So we see by looking at a small part of just that plan would make it seem like evil had won but in the end it had merely carried along the plans of "The Light".

My reason for tell you all this is in hope that you wont get to down, look for the good and keep your head up.

An idyllic kingdom, a place where all races lived in more or less peace, destroyed by the undying evil of one man. Out of all those people, only two survive. Only two deserved to live? Those are some pretty brutal consequences.

Good is patiently waiting for more Arua. They are out in the big wide world of Azeroth now. I know she has more stories that can be told. We just need to wait for them to reveal themselves to you.

Do we get a Starcore next?

I've enjoyed reading your insightful comments. Perhaps you might like my thoughts...the people were neither controlled by the evil of one man or not good enough to be saved. The Light could and would have saved all who came. As Aura discovered, the evil only had as much influence over her as she was willing to give it. All those people COULD have chosen to not be persuaded by evil, and they also COULD have been saved if they wanted to. The saddest part to me is that they didn't want to... The Light will save all who choose it.
