He didn't just guard a painting. In the end he gave his life to buy time for the one he cared enough to devote that life to.
He could have run. He could have said it's not worth it. He did neither. He stood as a hero, fought as a hero, and sadly met the fate of far too many heroes. I know that Arua will remember him as a hero.
And, I hope that he is "remembered" as a hero. Are you listening author?
