Arua's ethics should be leading here. It'w why she's the Archon and not pinchnose the headmaster. I just have this feeling that before this is over her ethics are going to smash into the need to act now...or else. I feel bad for that eventuality, but I also feel like it is necessary for her growth. We saw her have to deal with killing the orc back in the first arc, and that was an accident.
So far most of the people Arua's gone up against have been manifestly evil. But here she's not willing to believe that Nixie is that evil. Deluded, perhaps, but not evil. She's going to eventually meet that person who truly believes they are doing something very bad for a greater cause that's very good. And she's not going to have a lot of grace time to ponder alternatives. I have a gnawing feeling that's drawing close.
