I don't think anyone survived that.

So I had a thought, In WoW there are enough conduit, legendary, and covenant ability now that you can probably make a very decent skill tree talent system again.

I think there are even some new room for improvement such as including more generic talents that are found cross class and specs.

Example with an arms warrior

Veteran of the Horde/Alliance: Gain an absorb equal to 5% maximum health. (0/3)
Turn about: Charge cool down time reduced by 1 second. (0/5)
Mortal combo: Mortal strike has a 10% change of striking a second time. (0/4)

Above we see the first talent can be applied to any class in the game. The second talent can be applied to any warrior in the game. and the Third talent is only available to Arms warriors.

This means that you don't have to come up with say 50 points worth of unique talents per spec. You can do 10 points of generic talents, 10 points of class talents and 30 points of spec talents.
a brake like this would be critical in ensuring that most of your choices are "Spec" related)

Just a thought I had about how to condense all the different power systems in the game into one more manageable idea. Let me know what you think.

Every single bit of Shadowlands needs to go into a cremation incinerator: Covenants, Legendaries, Conduits, everything.

I'm not worried about Veja or Tirea surviving. I'm concerned whether Arua's *bikini* survived. She has a history with rivers....

You know, Arua has never had bikini problems. So she might be safe.

Talents! I do miss the old system before Pandaria, where I didn't have to choose in-between abilities or passives. That's what your system reminds me of. Unless ActiBlizz gets more passionate creators that aren't just concerned with appeasing their shareholders (which I hate is a thing to begin with), there won't be a full revamp to make it fun again. Give me a classic WotLK and I *might* try it out.

That creek really isn't that deep, Arua...
