I happen to enjoy walking most of the time. Hasn't quite kept me in shape alone but it's done some good results.

You would need kodo-sized horses for Tauren. Well, actually PallyTaur rides a horse; but she's a Highlord.

I actually swapped to the highlord horse as well, but that was because I kept getting hung up on door ways in PvP because the collision model was to tall for tauren on Kodos.
