So, the Trolls call each other "Long Ears?"
NEW MONTH STARTING. Time to look at how we did last month.
We started off February week one: 02/01 - 02/06; with 72 weekly votes, average 12/day. GRATZ was #205 on list.
Then for the second week: 02/07 - 02/13, the comic earned 85 weekly votes, 12.14/day average, and hit #191 on list.
The third week: 02/14 - 02/20, GRATZ received 77 weekly votes, 11/day average, ending the week at #201 on the list.
Now, I'm going to divide the final results up into two parts, and you'll see why once I present them.
For the actual final WEEK of February: 02/21 - 02/27, GRATZ received "94" weekly votes, average 13.42 votes/day, highest of the month. On that day the comic stood at #190 on the Top list.
Then we had Sunday.
On Sunday, February 28, something singularly unusual occurred. Going back as far as I have records, and even farther back, GRATZ has traditionally had low votes on weekends. It's understandable: there are two days without any update, and...it's the weekend. So, on the 28th I wasn't expecting anything extraordinary.
What I SAW on the 28th was extraordinary: as of 11pm EST, GRATS had *16* votes, just that day. That late influx of votes proved enough to kick GRATZ from #190 on the Top Webcomic list....
To it's ending spot: # 1 8 5.
And THAT is the importance of voting every day.
Let's make March another good month.
But thanks for all the votes! Makes me want to try harder at the voting pages so people actually get something for their efforts.
