Lots of stuff that happened a long time ago are now coming back. This may end up being one of those chapters that are friendly to long time readers but bad for first time readers. Well we'll see how it goes. Have a good weekend everyone.

There are decisions that Arua can't make for other people. It sounds like the Feur are committed, more or less, to treating Almier in a humane manner. Based on what we've seen of the Thousand Lands King, I'll bet he's issued similar orders. For Arua to "tag along" with the intention of seeking to protect the Almier, it would be pretty much an insult to both other nations integrity. I vote she takes the win and stays out from this point forward.

Still too much work; this week is brutal. Keep voting everyone, I should have some...interesting results to report Monday.

She could become a hermit living in the woods.

"You have mail."

She could try to deal with the "mad" queen that started this all.

In panel two she says "And now where here." should be "And now WE'RE here."

Could, but political assassination would be more Cer'veja's skills set. Arua is more "tactical nuke"

I meant "deal with" in a broader sense. Like defeating her, reforming her, or just removing any form/source of power she has.

"Taking the Queen out" in any fashion, won't in and of itself solve the Almier problem. Even if she were removed at this point, they still have that "more civilized than thou" attitude. That's gotta be fixed for lasting peace.

I get the feeling that the Almier capital is a bomb. We've already seen the smaller prototypes destroyed during the ambush before the desert temple adventure, and those caused quite a lot of destruction. Looking at the map near the beginning of this chapter, the capital is nearly overrun or is under siege. The Almier queen could feasibly turn an empty capital (or a not empty capital) into a death zone and strike a huge blow to the other armies.

We're also overlooking the Hermit guy floating around. He might still have a hand in things.

Unrelated to the story: Stay safe out there, everyone!
