I'm taking a moment to express my gratitude to anyone that may have dedicated their time and risk their lives to keeping another 9-11 attack from happening again. Thank you and hope life is good to you.

"Interesting" statues. Archaeologically speaking, those types of figures indicated fertility deities/cults. Not what I would consider typical of the Feur culture. I also noted they are both statues of humans.

Of particular note is that the heads of both figures were forcibly removed. Something very bad went down here, and Major Doughnut is marching straight into it.

quick point of clarification. The mad lands are located in part of the Almier kingdom. It's a lawless part of the kingdom with Almier's clam over is largely because they happen to be next to it.

Where is that world map when you need one.

*rummages around*

The one you included inna verra specific. Are The Mads in that blue lasso area in the corner that abuts all 3?

Well that map isn't quite to scale the Mad lands where suppose to be that dark green area of the Almier kingdom.

The blue lasso area is actually a area with rivers that fork just before hitting the sea and has historically served as the main battleground for all three kingdoms. Possession of it is a show of power.

Also, work is eating my brain. I remembered last night that the Mad Lands have actually come up before.

Early in Spirit of Adventure Arua got them the job of guarding a caravan going there. Then in Shadow of the Sun, you gave the explanation for why they are called such. This was also the chapter that reintroduced Xura.
