The goat men really didn't stand much of a chance with Arua going at it. I had originally planed to do another whole fighting update but then I relised it really didn't add much to the story and just felt like it created padding.

But what do you think? Would you rather have the extra fighting in the story or would you rather things just got a move on?

Depends on the type and pace of the story. A drama doesn't need too much action. An adventure webcomic with a vertical style could benefit from straight action scenes. Exposition and story progression are nice, but an adventure comic with just those things can be monotonous.

tl'dr it can work, so really it depends if you want to put in the effort to do it at all, not whether or not you think it's worth it. Because action is always the very nice.

That's a good point, an adventure comic is not a drama comic.

Follow up question, How long should a action scene run? what is to short for an action scene and what is to long for an action scene?

(e.g. one page is to short to be called an action scene but twenty page strait pages of action gets boring.)
