Magical River Ride?
(Appropriate given the probable origins of that "ride.")
Even though in the midst of...we'll call it Puffer Trip...Arua is still Arua. "To protect the weak, defend the defenseless" even if they're a frilly lizard.
I'm not even going to comment on the fact that in exactly none of these panels is it intimated Arua is wearing anything at all other than that shirt.
...Damnit.
In comic news: Tonight GRATZ is #329 on the list with 200 votes. This is down a bit from the same point last month. We have 4 days of vigorous voting left to close out this month. GRATZ can finish strong if every one does their part and votes every day.
If Frilly (I've mentioned him three times now, I'm allowed to name him) is causing this, then more important than "how" would be "WHY?" After you answer the question of who/what he really is that he has so much power he could warp the minds of three people all at once; you have to ask the next question. Why is he putting Arua through this? What is to gain? And think: in order for him to have set this up, he had to know the group would travel to THIS specific island, at THIS specific time. To go through that much trouble and effort, and put that much energy into it, the payoff would have to be literally life-changing. I don't think Pervy Sage has the power to do it; Xura never had that kind of magical power; and, honestly, I don't believe Grand Moff ever had that much power.
