Arua knows she can depend on Cer'veja, but Cer'veja also knows this. So he dosn't want to be undependable. There are many reasons why we don't ask for help. Sometimes it's pride believing that we don't need help. And on the other end it's extreme meekness Where we don't want to bother another person. Now it's a little more complex with Cer'veja then just those two simple extremes but it's so bizarre to look at things we struggle with in our own life and wonder why we don't ask for help?

Veja has that resigned look in the last panel that says Tirea got through. He doesn't want to give Arua anything more to have to think about, but I think he'll find that Arua will do better when he's honest with her.

I'm already eagerly waiting to see how everything works out on 10-15-18*....

I said I had an update for today...and I'm excited to be a little disappointed. Just a little. See, we brought that fantastic energy from last month over to the beginning of this one. Day 1 we started in #274 with 12 votes. Unheard of for GRATZ. And the vote kept surging: 15 votes, 12, votes, 12 votes again. I wondered if we would break #300 in the first week. Then the weekend approached: Friday - 7 votes, Saturday - 4, Sunday - 4. Sunday we were at #310. Tonight we are ranking #320 with 71 total votes.

Don't get me wrong, these are still record numbers for the comic. I'm just intensely puzzled over this voting pattern. That the comic does so well during the week only to slip on the weekends feels counterintuitive to me somehow. I believe we can still make up ground during the week, so don't stop now. Keep voting.

P.S. I love the new Landing Page you made when you click on the banner. Smiling Arua and each chapter with it's own banner. Professional looking.
