Intense emotion work on this page. Cer'veja's worried scowl in Panel 1 sets the tone for the 4 that follow, each building on the previous one. By the time we get to Panel 5, it's sharp intake of breath time. Every panel has action even the last where it's implied.
I point this out as my way of saying there is no possible way that posting page 2 on Wednesday would have resulted in a loss of energy. What you put in these 5 panels would have sustained reader's interest for at least 24 hours.
