Veja says he's "unhappier because WE got back into it" right after saying "And already SHE's being used...." I'm thinking he's not as grumpy about himself being in the thick, he grew up on the streets after all, as he is about Arua getting punished by it.

And I'm really tired, so missing a lot of the nuance. I'm sorry.
