That's it for this week. My second brother comes home from his mission this week so I got to hit the road again to head home.

This story is a little odd on the time scale. This has been going on for a few months now yet in the story it has only been hours. In fact most of the story so far has been Arua trying to decide if she was drunk or not. One thing I'm find so far is that mystery are not quick stories.

Don't worry about how long it is taking in real time versus comic time. The current story arc at The Whiteboard has been running for 2 years for 1 day comic time.

Even better, Mark Stanley took "19 years" telling the First Chapter of "Freefall." http://freefall.purrsia.com/

Mansion of "E" took something like 10-12 years to run through the first day.

That is dedication on a single day.

Arua reasons things out; Veja does things. Good combination.

I'm exhausted again. I'll ruminate over these pages during the week.

One thing I was going to mention is how you moved away from the game Troll dialect in the comic. Way back with Red and Green you started them of with dat distinct accent mon, but gradually worked them away. It's just another example of how you've carved your own world out in these pages.

Get some sleep and have fun ruminating.

I'm not sure when I swapped over on the Troll dialect. Maybe it was just easier on the writing to not worry about dialects and spelling. But regardless looking back at what I've done and how far I've come is a good reminder for me that I was always getting better.

Your comic has grown up a lot over the years. Your art style, use of color, use of contrast, and depiction of action has taken on a life of its own. I think you've developed a good story line also where I'm attached to the characters and interested in what is going to happen next. You don't always have to have big action, some of the most interesting things happen between the characters and even within their own minds. Great job!

I just realized something else when looking back at this page:

http://gratz.thecomicseries.com/comics/824/

That last panel shows something that bothers me: Tauren ears don't do anything.Ears like that are made to be directional, but they never move. In that last panel they should have been instinctually searching. It's not your fault, the ears don't do anything in game either. They just should.
