deus ex machina: an unexpected power or event saving a seemingly hopeless situation, especially as a contrived plot device in a play or novel.

This is not that! This is a set up proceed by some very rough writing.

Well I hope you aren't all to bummed by this week's update, I know it's kind of a downer but if things never were bad then how could they ever be good?

Sadly a downer week but it was necessary for things to come to a head/conclusion.

Arua IS a deus ex machina, considering what The Archon actually represents.

Let's see all those people down below struggle to explain what they just saw. I'll bet they will be really creative. Hopefully Veja saw those wings as well.

This is not going to be a quick retribution...not pun. Arua no longer has any backup; there is no place in the city that will be safe for the two (three?) of them to stay; and, she will probably be persona-non-grata in the nearby countryside as well. This is going to come down to a guerrilla war.

Grand Moff and Xura could make part of this easy. If he moves in to immediately solidify his hold on the city, then they won't have to worry about finding them. Just how to get to them.

That will happen.

hmm, interesting. I don't think I could get in on the print sale because of copy rights but thanks for the heads up.
