Well that's it for this week.

This weekend the Supercross was in town so I went with some of my family. We went into the pits and watched the riders give out autographs. For a lot of the riders it was kind of strange looking, they almost seemed like robots. *sign paper* *give paper* *repeat*. However we also got to see the points leader, Ryan Dungie! He was cool, when people would come up he would talk with them and pose for pictures with them.

In short it was really cool to see he had no doubt at that point been on the track a few times that day getting ready for a big race that would see people trying to end his winning streak, and yet he was willing to put in the energy to greet fans and make the experience memorable for them.

Just thought you might like a "Feel good" story today.

Veja has two very insightful points. And he's right on both counts.

The Light wouldn't choose an imperfect Archon. That's simply too important a job. Arua just has to believe in herself as much as The Light does.

People are going to be people. Warriors are never really appreciated in times of peace. Only when people need someone to stand between them and certain death are they grateful, and that only fleetingly. I'm speaking in terms of the aggregate people, but it's unfortunately common enough.

This kinda says it all:
