Time jump ahead so we can see the adventures of Star and Van's child.

I also vote for Star and Van's child!

I'm not sure a time jump like that would be good for long-term continuity. It has the potential to mess with any future stories Lacking might want to do with Star and Van. Having a story two books back where "Grownup VanStar does XYZ" might constrain the plotting, or drive it in one particular direction, to the exclusion of other possibilities.

Besides, wouldn't it be more fun to see VanStar grow up gradually?

I'm curious about how much time has passed between Van and Star's last appearance and Arua first appearance?

I'll actually give a straight answer here.

The time in between these two stories doesn't even exist. I know I threw Red in a panel back in Solace but this was more of an Easter egg then a really connection in between the two stories.

Now this isn't to say that there can't be a crossover it's just at this moment they exist independent of each other.

Sorry the answer isn't as fun but this is honestly one of the workings I haven't even figured out yet.

You tease....

She's not getting in the last blow, but you really set up for next week big time.

I gotta stop thinking about Xura's costume, and that panel doesn't help.

Now, serious stuff. I know that you're trying to satisfy a readership; why publish a webcomic otherwise. But, what would make YOU happy? Maybe your readers would like some insight on that. Might fuel the discussion. You mentioned a while back that you had made breakthroughs on a couple stories you had been working on. Are those possibilities?

You know I'm biased: I would read Arua stories for as long as you would produce them. But more important is how you feel about what you are producing. If you start feeling burn-out, or try to force something, it's not going to be your good work. And I will be around no matter what you go with.

I've really enjoyed the characters of both comics, but I also know you have some other great ideas. I know this isn't very helpful.I would rather see Starvancore grow up slowly and have a few more adventures with the foursome adults than jump to a grown Starvan. I have loved Aura and 'Veje, and would like to see his character developed more and their friendship and adventures continue. I can't see Aura being satisfied working for the military for very long. She needs to be out there righting the wrongs of the world and kicking butt with her less scrupulous but devoted friend. I would like to see some original work too, but perhaps that could be done after your other stories have played themselves out. So after all this indecisive blabber, my vote goes to more Aura! Besides, I like to see how you work in her singing and dancing. It makes me smile and encourages me to be happy and enjoy life.

I have to side with Marylee, friend. Do what will make you happy. If you are itching to try something new, go for it!

But, if you are only asking because you feel your readers are unsatisfied with you continuing to create WoW webcomics, put those fears aside. You do good work (spelling errors aside) and your tales are always entertaining.
