Good morning!! Hope you all had a good Halloween and that you are sitting on a nice pile of candy at the moment.

I do have a video this week but I also have a Halo 5 report to give so I'll be doing the report now!

Halo 5 Report:

Let's clear a few things up, The main story is 15 missions long but! Of that 15 a few of the missions are walking around and talking to two different people and that's the end. I think there are about 2 or 3 of these so in terms of real mission it's more like 12-13. Next the story is not split evenly between the Chief and Lock. You play 3 missions as the Chief and the rest as Lock. Next there is not split screen at all!

So now that we got that out of the way how is it? Well The story is really fast moving, a bit to fast perhaps. There where times I felt like it would have been better to slow things down but they didn't. Also the whole main story is intended to be 4 player co-op able. This means that you will always have 3 AI or player team mates with you on every level. This is something I kind of don't like as I feel like some of the past Halo games used the Chief on a solo mission to great effect and that is being lost with Halo 5, Also if the design documents for the came included 4 player co-op then dropping split screen was a really stupid idea because it damaged one of the big design points of the game. But how is the story over all? Well it is fast pace, could have been told better in some ways but the idea and topic as a whole is not bad at all. I won't spoil it here but the idea is solid just the execution rough.

But this is Halo so we need to talk about the Multi player!! It is... eh? The customization feels really limited the colors are bland to me. Game mode you only have two big types. Arena with smaller teams and more traditional Halo game play and Warzone with larger teams and a more MOBA style base is fun but I find the REQ system put into the game surprisingly dull and frustrating as players right now who have gotten lucky or spent really money have more of the best weapons and vehicles ready where as the rest of us don't. Now perhaps in time this will fade but that's just as it is at the moment.

So should you buy Halo 5? Well I'm a big Halo fan so I'll be honest. If you don't have a Xbox one there is no reason to buy one for this game. If you do have a Xbox one and enjoy first person shooters then ya. But If you want a Halo game then sorry stick with the Master Chief Collection. despite it's bugs it still offers the better Halo experience.

Well I will give credit for Halo 5 trying to grow as a game I feel like it grew in all the wrong ways at the expense of it's identity and that is never a good thing.

Panel 3. Understated, but says so much about the dynamic between these two. One is a hero; one is learning to become a hero. They're both learning what family means.

And that's a wonderfully mean look on Arua's face in panel 5.

After reading your review I won't be buying Halo 5. Sounds like it has not enough of what I liked about 3, and too much of what I didn't.

Halo 3 is by the best in my opinion. Well the others have things I like about them I find that over all quality Halo 3 is the best.

(it was also the first one I picked up at mid night and skipped school to bing play.)
