So two week ago I picked up WoW again for the first time in 10 months. Leveled up an Alt I had been working on and hit cap. Then I got into BFA's end game.

It was a confusing mess of a end game. I got roped into a 4 hour long quest cycle trying to get to the point where I could cleanse a corruption gear I had gotten that was sinking my game play with 35 corruption.

I have 4 slots on my heart azerite thing but only 3 upgraded I can put in.

I look back on BFA and what started out as a strong idea about faction conflict turned into a inflated system and story of talking to the world, old gods, betrayal somewhere and sudden death powers.

The big Warfront idea turned into only two fronts neather of witch I have done on the new alt because of how crazy everything end game is.

casual PvP is impossible for new leveled players to get into becuase everyone is running around with those crazy power levels.

So I look back on all this and think that BFA might just be the new worst expansion for me.

Sorry for the down start but what are all your thoughts?

There's a war going on between the Horde and Alliance? Hmm seemed to have missed that and I been playing steadily since BFA dropped...ROFL! Yeah I agree this is probably the worst expansion for me feels like it has been going on forever, I am so far behind the curve on everything. If you think 35 corruption is bad try 85, if it procs it is almost insta-death for my worgen fury warrior... :(

May your fury warrior find peace in the void.

This story is going downhill. Wait...the story is going down the hole...no; the plot is descending into....

I forgot what I was going to say.

There's a lot of talk about voting it seems. And we are going to talk about it also. Week 3 of September voting is in and for that median 9/13 - 9/19 there were 62 total votes, average 8.86/day. That sounds like the numbers are up...so are everybody else's. As of today GRATZ is just hanging in at #291 and I feel like the voting has got to get better to stay below 300 this month.

I'm gonna say it...I miss Mists of Pandaria.

I pulled my BfA comments separately. You've both heard most of them. BfA has been a mess since it launched. Each patch has piled on more layers of loser, leading to my ultimate decision that the entire expansion was corrupted. Speaking of corruption, I don't understand you people running high numbers. Lyn has literally one piece of gear with corruption, a single rank of Twilight, that's 5 below my cloak resistance which I've never bothered to upgrade.

To be honest it seems to me that nearly every piece of gear I get from WQ's is corrupted, I have rejected outright server al nice pieces of gear that were slight upgrades but had too much corruption on them

But I've done the exact same thing. I've outright deleted the gear and haven't bothered with scrapping. I've made so many profanity-laced complaints using the in-game tool I'm surprised I haven't been banned. My comment was to the point that I haven't equipped anything that I did not already have the corruption resistance to negate.

I don't know what's going on at Blizzard internally, but I think a lesson that needs to be relearned is K.I.S.S (keep it simple stupid) Blizzard seems so set on trying to make things interesting that they've gone and made it confusing.

Honestly I have my doubts now about Shadowlands fixing this issue so I can only hope they don't make it BFA bad. Then I hope in the after Shadowlands they do a honest rebuild around the core progression system to get everything back under control.

I've abandoned all hope and resigned myself to cancelling and skipping the entire expansion.

I've been upset this entire expansion about the time that they teased the Azerite system before it even released. The war fronts sounded amazing despite the fact that I prefer PvE for the most part, but I had a sinking feeling that it was going to be awful from the beginning. I went on a huge hiatus this year from the game and am only just now getting to the final end content. I just unlocked the cleansing corruption system and "preparing" to go into Ny'aloth'a (?). The only thing that I've found mildly interesting is the Horrific Visions but that seems to be only a daily thing now? I suppose your mind recovering for a full 24 hours is Blizz's way of time gating even more.

This expansion didn't have my hopes up very much at all from the beginning, and I doubt that I'll do the Horde side of things until I complete Shadowlands on Alliance and Horde, and decide to finish BFA for Horde simply because I want the lore.

The Afterlives videos are pretty cool so far, but honestly? They could have done them better. Stop bringing in old faces for the subscribers and bring some new ones in, especially if you're just going to ignore their pasts (Draka) and their potential future (Ursoc), or rehash them for the new expansion (Garrosh/Uther).

You brought up a very good point, new characters are needed. Or lore in needed to expand on existing characters like how was done with Vol'jin. Well some people may hate it, I think Garrosh was a great example of how things could be done with WoW. He was created for the MMO, he played a roll in three expansions (4 if you count BC) where we saw his rise and fall. He was involved in a lot of story telling so we got to know him and hate him because of his continues actions.

I think MOP was one of the best expansions because it looked more to making new lore rather then dredging up old lore.
