So guess where all my time went this week. I was going to try for a four page update because the first two where so simple. But some things came up this week and it worked out with just a regular update!

So we ready for a new chapter? We hit another mile stone next week that I'll share so cya then!

(next update 6-4-18)

Awesome update. Lots, and lots of detail.

Milestone...strip anniversary is November, we haven't hit #1100 yet, I'm stumped.

Happy Memorial Day Lacking! Hope your family hasn't lost someone in service, but if so, know that I honor them today along with all our country's fallen heroes.

Thought just hit me reading back through panel 4: did you get any inspiration for the water engineering from Angkor Wat? Science channel ran a program that went in depth about the stunning engineering that went into the complex, with emphasis on how the builders incorporated water into the design of the temple.

I didn't but I'm going to look that up now!

What I did base it on was Tenochtitlan. The capital of the Aztec empire. So lots of water was still used.

The Aztec also were a lot more advanced in their building techniques than were originally credited to them. The way these ancient people thought so far ahead as to utilize something as basic as "water" in the foundation of their buildings should make us all take a step back and re-evaluate our own level of sophistication.
